What makes The Laird House unique is our passion for the environment. Canada Eco Studies is an environmental education and certification program for grades K-12 that helps school communities develop both ecological literacy and environmental practices to become environmentally responsible and reduce the environmental footprint of schools. The Laird House Program, “Ontario Eco Studies” reflects the Ontario Eco Schools Program. Our program enables each school and their Student Ambassadors to obtain Eco Points towards Gold Medal School status.
We are certified Ontario Teachers who have a longstanding passion for the environment, which includes acting as EcoTeam leads for Canada Eco Studies certification at our schools. This rich background inspires the unique summer programming that Laird House offers.
